How It All Started

Through the years, customers have always wondered just how old we are, and how much experience we have had in the industry. Well, DirecTec was established as an onsite computer repair company by Cameron Javid in 2002. With the help of friends and colleagues, the business grew solely by word of mouth. In 2005, we started becoming involved with monthly maintenance contracts for higher profile companies as well as a few medical institutions. Many clients started asking about home entertainment solutions between 2007 and 2009, so DirecTec started to offer home theaters built from the ground up, as well as customized home automation systems. In 2009, we also added a design team to our list of client solutions. When 2011 came along, we were priding ourselves on offering unparalleled sales, service, and support in home entertainment, home automation, commercial technology solutions, and design services as well as home computing and networking solutions.

Through the past 10 years, it has always been, and will always be, about quality. We’re passionate about having a vast knowledge in all that there is to do with our work, in order to come up with a perfect solution for our client. At DirecTec, we care deeply about all of this; our work is never done. When we are fully engaged, we connect with, laugh with, and uplift the lives of our clients even if just for a few moments. Sure, it starts with the promise of an impressively perfect home theater, or computer purchase, but our work goes far beyond that. Its really about human connection.
